GB7WIN was commissioned on 23rd March 2025 as a joint project between Alan G8IPG and Jason M0MZF on the radio site at Crab Wood, Winchester as part of South West Hampshire Raynet's wider project to provide digital voice and data services to amateurs across the wider area. Thanks to Matt 2E0HKD for his continuing involvement in BPQ node configuration!

As far as possible we hope to use the forthcoming 6m port for linking and the 2m port for user access; with only the 2m port currently operational locked NETROM routes have been implemented to the following nodes with which we have a (mostly!) reliable circuit: GB7RDG (Reading, Berks), GB7BSK (Basingstoke, Hants), GB7WOD (Woodley, Berks) and MB7NPW (Pewsey, Wilts).
