Experimental LoRa-VHF APRS Gateway, VHF side - LoRa is sent via MB7UBA.
Packets received on VHF are digipeated on LoRa from MB7UBA, and packets received on LoRa are digipeated on VHF. This cross-band digipeating is done with the “directonly” setting in APRX for the VHF side, and there are rate limits applied more stringently on the LoRa side (though normal traffic for the area is well within these limits).
Also acts as a VHF Fill-In Digi, with a “viscous” setting of 5 seconds. This means any VHF packets received will be digipeated back on VHF only if they are not heard being digi'd by someone else in 5 seconds. The reason for this is the very well situated MB7UG is nearby, and this usually digipeats everything with no problem, so rather than waste VHF airtime by doing it again, the viscous delay means it will only act as a true fill-in, repeating what was not heard by anyone else who may do a better job.
